Free Shows In Las Vegas

Cheap Vegas entertainment to enjoy.

From dancers on a bar to full-blown productions, Vegas offers up a wealth of shows that don't cost anything to watch.

Nothing saves cash more than taking in a free show and Vegas has a lot of them.

These are among the most popular and fun of the lot:

1] Circus Shows at Circus Circus. Inside the resort is a midway complete with a stage that features a variety of circus acts from high flyers to those more grounded. A different act performs every half hour from 11am to midnight and all shows are completely free and family friendly.

2] The Dealentertainers at Imperial Palace. The dealers in the pit at this resort are dressed up as various entertainers from Dolly Parton to Madonna to Bruce Springsteen. But they are more than just visual entertainment, as every 20-30 minutes, one will take to the raised stage in the center of the pit to belt out one of his/her character's hits. I was in awe at the Tina Turner dealer - she was spot on. Performances take place daily from noon until 4am and best of all, it's free to watch.

3] The Carnivale Masquerade Show at The Rio. Watch state-of-the-art floats that suspend from the ceiling parade through the casino floor in this Brazilian Carnivale extravaganza. Catch the beads and watch the show for free. Shows take place every hour to 90 minutes from 3pm to 9:30pm.

4] The Sirens of TI. Every night, in front of TI (known to us old-school Vegas visitors as Treasure Island), a group of scantily-clad women fight a band of pirates onboard a schooner. The show features music, dancing, swordplay, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and even a full size ship sinking, every hour and a half from 5:30pm to 10pm.

5] The Centrifuge Dancers at MGM Grand. Every night professional dancers take to the bar tops at the resort's newest lounge, Centrifuge, to perform both choreographed and freestyle dance routines for guests. It's free to watch, though their cocktails are rather good, too.

Vegas is full of free things to do and in my next article, I'll list the best of the free attractions.
