Budget TravelBreakfast at Walt Disney World

Hmmm, some really good advice here! I especially like the brunch recommendation; 2 bigger meals insted of three smaller ones may give nutritionists coniptions, but it's a great way to save money (and spend more of your day standing on line and other Disney things). Jen

LOL Well, I don't think a few days of big meals will hurt. Plus, what I do is grab the extra muffin or apple from the buffet for that afternoon snack to tide me over until dinner, so the calorie count balances out.

True, good idea. You know, the last time we went to Disneyland, we had this fastpass we were waiting on to use for Thunder Mountain, and we ate dinner right before. Suddenly we realized our fastpass time was NOW, so we grabbed our kids and ran. Poor 4-year old daughter - since she had just eaten, she BARFED all over the ride (and me). ...I'd say that's NOT a good way to save up your calories. :) Jen

No, I would say binging and purging the Disney way is *NOT* recommended. LOL » desertblue - Breakfast at Disney In response to Breakfast at Disney posted by Zengrrl:I LOVED the dinner at Boma so much I went TWICE. And it's not cheap. I will have to try the breakie when I go back. I love that hotel. (cheaper than fyling to Africa though...) -- posted by desertblue

The dinner buffet is expensive, so I only recommend it to people who can and will eat just about anything. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, Boma's dinner buffet won't be a good deal. Breakfast however, is friendly to all. » ronryche - Boma buffet This is by far the best buffet at Disney World. I always save lots of room and eat slowly to savor the food. I also found the breakfast at Boatwrights at Port Orleans Riverside is fabulous! It's not a buffet, but they have the best Sweet Potato pancakes for only $7.29 (includes your choice of breakfast meat). Deelicious!!! -- posted by ronryche
